I am nina of cafe & stringed instruments shop "fabrico".
先月末、「通りかかりで、ずっと気になっていた」とご来店くださったお客様がいらっしゃいました。
とても可愛いらしいおばあちゃん。
The end of the last month, a new customer who is a cute and lovely elderly lady came to our shop.
She said "I was interested in this shop when I pass here always".
しかし、オーダーいただいたのは、当店のメニューにはない『コーヒーミルク』という飲み物。
私の頭の中に「？？？」が広がりました。笑
おそらく、コーヒーとミルクを掛け合わせた飲み物であることはわかるのですが、カフェラテやカフェオレ、フレッシュを入れたコーヒーでもない。
どういうものか詳しく伺うと、おばあちゃんがおっしゃるには「牛乳に、ちょびーっとコーヒーが入っててな…」 。
「ほな、ホットミルクにコーヒーちょびっと足しましょか」と確認すると、「あぁ、そうやなぁ。そんな感じ」。
However, she ordered "coffee milk" which isn't in our menu and I don't know.
A lot of "???" came to my head. lol
I guessed the drink contains coffee and milk, but that isn't caffe latte, cafe au lait or coffee with milk.
I asked her the detail, then she told "A little bit of coffee is in milk...".
So I confirmed "I add a little bit coffee to hot milk is fine?", she answered "Oh, yeah. Something like that".
ニコニコ飲んでくださり、料金は「ホットミルクと同じ200円で」とお伝えしたら、
「200円でいいのー！？」 と喜んでくださり。
あったかい時間を過ごさせていただきました。
She had it with smiling, she surprised like "It is just 200yen!?" when I told "The price is same with hot milk, 200yen".
I'm grateful for having the heartwarming time with her.
というわけで、おばあちゃんに提供した『コーヒーミルク』をもう一度作って飲んでみました。
ほんのりコーヒー風味がほっこりする、優しい味。
おばあちゃん、また飲みに来てくれたら嬉しいなあ…。
So I made "coffee milk" which I served to the elderly lady and I had it myself.
The taste which has a bit of coffee flavour eases my mind.
I hope she comes to had it again...
